Our cat Shadow has feline asthma, which is very treatable but also very expensive. She wrote her own Go Fund Me and asked me to share it online. If you have enjoyed any of the essays or art on my blog, please consider donating to help us pay for her asthma medication and vet bills.

When we brought Shadow home she was still recovering from being spayed and had to wear this paper cone so she wouldn't chew at her stitches. She HATED her cone; once she didn't need it anymore and we removed it, both she and her twin brother Fox immidiately began attacking it, stomping it out of shape and tearing it apart with their baby teeth. Solidarity!

“Hi, my name is Shadow. I'm one year old, I like laser pointers and exploring high places, and cuddling with my twin brother Fox. I also have feline asthma. Fortunately, feline asthma is highly treatable! Unfortunately, it is also highly expensive. Between emergency visits, x-rays, and my fancy new inhaler, I've run up a bill of over two thousand five hundred dollars.
Because I am a cat, I do not have very much money. (Really just some pennies I found under a rug.) I told my humans Zach and Matteo that they should get some jobs or something to cover my bills. They told me they already have jobs, but the pay must be really bad or something because they said they still don't have enough after covering "rent" and "food." Can you believe that?!
So that's why I'm coming to, Internet. I need money to afford my asthma medicine and vet appointments so I can stay happy and healthy!
